Units from 3/8” to 1-1/2” in size have screw-fitting end caps: external thread on the EH/JS-38F and EH/JS-12F, internal thread on the JS-50 through JS-150. All sizes from 2-1/2” (JS-250) to 12” (JS-1200) are flange types. The flange-fitting units are supplied with welding flanges, seal packings, bolts and nuts. Refer to the specification charts for complete details.

Suprion is a directional device, as indicated by the ”IN”, “OUT” and arrow markings on the identification plate. Optimum performance can only be guaranteed when the Suprion unit is installed with proper orientation.

Suprion units have an earth terminal located toward the “OUT” end of the device (if for any reason the directional markings on the identification plate are obscured, the terminal can be used as a directional guide). This terminal must be properly earthed (grounded) when the Suprion unit is installed in a plastic or non-earthed pipeline. The earth terminal can be left unconnected if the pipeline is metal and earthed. In any case, please ensure that the body of the Suprion unit is at earth potential.

For best results the Suprion unit should be installed in the feed line, as close as possible to the system (heat exchanger, machine, etc.) to be protected.
